West Ham United are 'close' to making a breakthrough in negotiations for London Stadium targets Filip Kostic and Piotr Zielinski, according to transfer insider Dean Jones.
The Hammers completed their fourth signing of the summer window by prising Gianluca Scamacca away from Italian side Sassuolo for £35.5million, but it appears the east Londoners' spending will not end there.

The Hammers are looking to pounce due to uncertainty over the 48-cap Serbia international's long-term future as he has entered the final 12 months of his £43,000-per-week contract.
Jones has previously told GIVEMESPORT that West Ham are 'optimistic' that Kostic, 29, will head to the London Stadium.
According to Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via Hammers.News, West Ham have made a £17million bid for Napoli attacking midfielder Zielinski, but the offer falls some way short of his £34million price tag.
It is understood that the east Londoners are looking to tempt the 72-cap Poland international into joining by tabling a contract worth £5million-per-season.

Jones understands West Ham are eager not to fail in their attempts to sign Kostic and Zielinski after seeing Jesse Lingard opt to join Nottingham Forest instead of linking up with Moyes' charges.
The transfer insider believes the Hammers are edging towards acquiring the duo after getting Scamacca through the door.

It has been claimed that Kostic may need to be convinced to swap Frankfurt for West Ham as it would result in him giving up the opportunity to compete in the Champions League in the upcoming campaign.
The Bundesliga outfit are set to be in Europe's elite club competition after winning the Europa League last season, while the Hammers will be competing in the Europa Conference League.
It seems that Moyes will have to persuade Zielinski to make the move as well because the 28-year-old is reportedly keen to remain on Napoli's books.
However, West Ham have spent more than £80million this summer, so they appear to have the funds to convince their current clubs into doing business.
