FIFA 23 is set to be released in September this year - but will the new title be free to play?

FIFA 23 is going to be massive. Described by EA themselves as bringing 'the World’s Game to the pitch', the new instalment of the game delivers even more gameplay realism, both the men’s and women’s FIFA World Cup, the addition of women’s club teams, cross-play features and much more - which has got fans massively excited about the release of the game.

We now have a confirmed date for the release of FIFA 23, with the game officially launching on the 30th of September 2022. However, this is the release date for the standard edition. To be fair - for a full new release of the game, it was always unlikely that the title was going to be free. EA look like they've gone all in on new features this year, including revamped free-kicks and set pieces, the new HyperMotion2 technology, and much more. So it'll be well worth the price.
