Arsenal have signed a vastly experienced player when it comes to winning in Oleksandr Zinchenko.

The 25-year-old joined the Gunners from Manchester City in a deal worth an initial £30 million, following fellow former City star Gabriel Jesus to the Emirates as Mikel Arteta bolsters competition for places in his exciting Arsenal squad.

In Zinchenko, Arsenal have not only gotten an incredible versatile player who excels at left-back and in midfield, but a player who has become incredibly used to winning, having already lifted four Premier League titles.

It's exactly that winning mentality and top class pedigree that has been lacking from Arsenal since Arteta began to rebuild the squad from the ground up.

After starting fresh with a smaller squad but making use of talented, younger stars such as Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith Rowe and Gabriel Martinelli, the additions of Zinchenko and Jesus has increased the squad depth with genuine top quality and suddenly makes the Gunners an impressively well-rounded outfit.

Squad depth and an apparent lack of experienced, higher calibre players seemingly proved to be the undoing of Arsenal last season as they narrowly missed out on a top four finish, but the additions they have made in Zinchenko and Jesus will go a long way in addressing that, making them an exciting prospect to watch this season.

But not only have Arsenal gotten incredible value for money in their versatile Ukrainian, they've also acquired one of the Premier League's most successful players, judging by win percentage.

In a table put together by The Sun, it has been revealed that Zinchenko ranks as the Premier League player with the second highest win percentage out of their total games played.

The data in full makes for a fascinating read, so be sure to check it out below.

Highest win rate of Premier League players

As mentioned above, Zinchenko has the second highest win percentage with an incredibly impressive 81.6% of all his games won. That puts him behind only Arjen Robben, who racked up an 82.1% win percentage during his stint at Chelsea.

But what is most noticeable about the list is how much it is dominated by City players, past and present. Seriously, they absolutely run the show.

Of the 10 players who make up the list, only two players haven't played for City. One being Robben, who sits top, and the other being Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita, who comes in at fifth having won 59 of the 76 Premier League games he has played.

Elsewhere, it's complete control from the blue side of Manchester, and understandably so considering Pep Guardiola's side have won four out of the last five Premier League titles, and done so with mesmerising point tallies each time.

Bernardo Silva has won 128 of the 166 Premier League games he has played, while new Arsenal fan favourite Jesus has won 121 out of 159, giving him a 76.1% win rate. Leroy Sane left City for Bayern Munich in 2020, but did so with a very healthy 75.6% win rate that still sees him make the list two years later.

If that doesn't show just how utterly spectacular City have been under Guardiola, then nothing will.

To carry so many different players to such undisputed and dominant win rates is truly astounding. And it's Arsenal who now get to benefit from that, with Zinchenko and Jesus adding an unrelenting winning mentality and experience of lifting major honours to the squad, as well as their obvious talent.

Here's hoping their win rates don't decline too much now that they have both left City.
