9. Todd Boehly, Chelsea (£3.6bn)
Boehly's consortium completed the takeover from Roman Abramovich earlier this month and, while the American doesn't have the riches of the Russian, he's still worth £3.6bn. Boehly part-owns baseball's Los Angeles Dodgers and basketball's Los Angeles Lakers.
8. Hansjorg Wyss, Chelsea (£4bn)
Wyss, 86, is a Swiss businessman and will join Boehly on the board at Stamford Bridge.
He's described as "one of the most philanthropic people in the world" and has pledged to donate $1 billion to global conservation efforts by 2028.
7. Daniel Kretinsky, West Ham (£4.1bn)
Kretinsky bought a 27% stake in West Ham back in November 2021. He's also agreed to buy the club outright in the future.
The Czech lawyer already co-owns and is president of Sparta Prague as well as owning 10% of Sainsbury's.

Harris, along with David Blitzer, invested in Crystal Palace in 2017.

He also has stakes in MSG sports and Adidas.

Khan has owned NFL side Jacksonville Jaguars since 2011 and purcashed the club from Mohamed Al Fayed in 2013. He made his money in the automotive industry.
2. Stan Kroenke, Arsenal (£8.8bn)
Kroenke has been involved with Arsenal since 2007 and took outright ownership in 2018 when he bought Alishmer Usmanov's stake in the club.
If you're wondering why the second richest man in English football hasn't pumped more money into Arsenal, it's because he also owns MLS side Colorado Rapids, ice hockey's Colorado Avalanche, basketball's Denver Nuggets and Super Bowl champions the Los Angeles Rams.
