Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag 'would love to find a new club' for Aaron Wan-Bissaka as he does not feature in his Old Trafford plans, according to transfer insider Dean Jones.

Ten Hag is putting his own stamp on the Red Devils' squad after being appointed as interim manager Ralf Rangnick's successor ahead of the new season.

What's the latest news involving Wan-Bissaka?

According to Sky Sports, Manchester United are open to offers for Wan-Bissaka ahead of the September 1 transfer deadline.

The report suggests the Red Devils would prefer to offload the right-back – who has made 126 appearances for the club – on a permanent basis, but they would also be open to negotiating a loan switch which includes an obligation to buy.

It comes just three years after Manchester United forked out £50million in order to sign Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace.

But, having featured sporadically during the club's pre-season tour of Thailand and Australia, it seems the 24-year-old is not at the forefront of ten Hag's thinking.

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Manchester United are expecting offers to come in for Wan-Bissaka during the final weeks of the transfer window.

What has Dean Jones said about Wan-Bissaka?

Jones believes that Manchester United are keen to sell Wan-Bissaka as the ten Hag era gets underway.

Wan-Bissaka was brought to Old Trafford under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, but it appears he doesn't feature prominently in the new manager's plans.

The transfer insider feels the Red Devils' plan to draft in a new right-back option hinges on whether they are able to sanction his exit.

Jones told GIVEMESPORT: "I think they would love to find a new club for Wan-Bissaka now.

"I think that the only way that they can upgrade that position is to move him on first. They can't afford to take someone in and then try and find a home in case it doesn't happen or they end up losing money.

"The key will still be to find Wan-Bissaka a new home because, at the moment, he doesn't seem to fit in."

Has Wan-Bissaka been gaining interest?

Before the transfer window opened for business last month, it was revealed that Crystal Palace are considering a move for Wan-Bissaka.

Although a return to Selhurst Park could be attractive to the London-born ace, considering he made 46 senior appearances after coming through the Eagles' academy, his wage demands could prove to be a stumbling block.

That is because Wan-Bissaka currently earns £90,000-per-week, while Wilfried Zaha and Christian Benteke are the only Crystal Palace stars on more lucrative contracts.
