Chelsea could see three big names leave Stamford Bridge before the end of the summer transfer window, according to journalist Dean Jones

Thomas Tuchel is in the middle of a rebuild at Stamford Bridge under new chairman Todd Boehly and has added two big names to his squad ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.

What has Chelsea’s transfer window looked like so far?

The Blues were expected to be one of the busiest clubs in the Premier League this summer with restrictions placed on Roman Abramovich earlier this year disrupting their transfer preparations.

Raheem Sterling and Kalidou Koulibaly have already made the move to west London from Manchester City and Napoli respectively for a combined £84 million but more is expected before the window slams shut in December.

A new centre-back appears to be next on the agenda with Chelsea in the midst of a dramatic chase for Sevilla’s Jules Kounde while also holding an interest in Paris Saint-Germain’s Presnel Kimpembe.

But there is a good chance that high-profile departures could happen before new arrivals. Transfer insider Dean Jones believes Marcos Alonso, Hakim Ziyech, Christian Pulisic and Timo Werner could all still leave this summer.

What has Jones said on potential outgoings at Stamford Bridge?

Jones understands that all three players have a chance of leaving west London before the end of the summer transfer window and also insists that Chelsea have to make a final decision soon.

He told GIVEMESPORT: “Alonso, obviously wanted by Barcelona. Hakim Ziyech, [he’s] not really part of the projects. [There’s a] possibility of him going to AC Milan so he could go. Werner, he might go. Pulisic could go.

“These are all situations that Chelsea have to make some headway with this week. One way or the other. They have to tell these players they are potentially going or they're definitely staying. Because the season is around the corner and they can't have any more doubt over how this team is lining up.

“The reason that Arsenal had the edge over them in that friendly [4-0 defeat] is Arsenal know what their team is, Arsenal know what their philosophy is. Chelsea at the moment are all over the place.”

Where could the trio be heading?

Barcelona have been linked with a move for Alonso while also holding an interest in Cesar Azpilicueta. Both Spaniards are entering the final year of their Chelsea contracts and at least one could be on their way out.

Ziyech is open to joining AC Milan and Chelsea are willing to drop their asking price to £8.4 million to facilitate the exit following Sterling’s arrival.

Meanwhile, Juventus and Newcastle United have both been linked with moves for Werner with the former looking to complete a loan move for the German.

If Chelsea were to move the trio on, it would mean getting rid of £468,000 from their weekly wage bill in one fell swoop.

The Blues could stand to receive £159.9 million if all four players are sold for their optimum price this summer.
