Last summer, Sergio Ramos brought an end to his Real Madrid adventure. After 16 trophy-filled years in the famous white jersey, the centre-back opted to not extend his stay and chose to join Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer.“The moment has arrived, one of the most difficult moments in my life, to say goodbye to Real Madrid,” Ramos said after new of his departure became official, per Sport.“I arrived with my parents, a kid aged 19 and now I have a wonderful family of my own. I want to thank my family, who have been there in the good times and the bad“I want to thank the club, the president and my teammates for all the affection they have given me. For me, you’re like family. It’s inevitable to get emotional, I’ve been here for a lot of years.“I would have liked to say goodbye at the Bernabeu with fans. Thanks to Madrid, who will always be in my heart. An era ends but it’s not goodbye, it’s see you later, because sooner or later I will be back.”Ramos is without question one of Real Madrid's greatest ever players. He excelled as captain and despite spending most of his time at the club playing at centre-back, the 36-year-old managed to score over 100 goals.Sergio Ramos celebrating a goal for Real MadridMADRID, SPAIN - JULY 02: Sergio Ramos of Real Madrid celebrates his team's first goal during the Liga match between Real Madrid CF and Getafe CF at Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano on July 02, 2020 in Madrid, Spain. Now, we're assuming Ronaldinho was trying to reference the evening he made Ramos look rather silly during an El Clasico encounter in 2005/06, where the Brazilian scored twice in a 3-0 win for Barcelona at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Ronaldinho actually posted an image from a 2006/07 game in which Real Madrid won 2-0 and Ramos assisted a goal for Raul Gonzalez.

So, the Barcelona hero already looked slightly foolish and that was before Ramos came back with an epic response.

Ramos' reply to Ronaldinho

Fair play, Sergio.

Ronaldinho won a fair few of their on-pitch skirmishes, but Ramos was the clear winner from the virtual tussle.
