Arsenal are eager to offload Nicolas Pepe and intermediaries are working on a deal which will see him exit the Emirates Stadium, according to transfer insider Dean Jones.
Having fallen down the pecking order and made no Premier League starts since last October, it appears the winger is surplus to requirements in north London.

Arsenal may have forked out a club-record fee of £72million to sign Pepe from Lille three years ago, but they are preparing to make a major loss in order to get him off the club's books.
That is because it is understood that an offer of £25million could be enough to tempt the Gunners into sanctioning a move.
According to Spanish sources, Pepe has drawn interest from Ligue 1 giants Marseille and Lyon, along with La Liga outfit Sevilla.
The report suggests Leeds are also mulling over whether to head to the negotiating table as they are viewing the winger as a potential replacement for Raphinha, who joined Barcelona in a £55million deal earlier this month.
Meanwhile, Newcastle United have reportedly been offered the chance to take Pepe off Arsenal's hands, but a switch to St James' Park has not come to fruition so far.
What has Dean Jones said about Pepe?
Jones understands that Arsenal are keen to find a buyer for Pepe and, as a result, discussions are being held between the hierarchy and the wide-man's representatives behind the scenes.
However, the journalist believes bids have not been forthcoming from clubs the 27-year-old would be interested in joining.
Jones told GIVEMESPORT: "They're trying to find a place for him, basically. There's intermediaries working on it.
"At the moment, there hasn't really been any nibbles. Arsenal and the player's agents are trying to find a club that are genuinely interested in him at a certain level. I think that's been really hard.
"He has got clubs that are interested, but aren't at the level that Nicolas Pepe wants to be performing."

Pepe played less than 1,000 minutes of football last season, which shows that he is not prominent in boss Mikel Arteta's plans.
Although the Ivory Coast international has found the back of the net 27 times and contributed a further 21 assists over the course of 112 appearances, Arsenal would have been hoping for an even bigger impact considering their club-record outlay.
Despite a lack of game-time, Pepe is still the Gunners' second highest earner thanks to his contract being worth £140,000-per-week, so it would make financial sense for the north Londoners to offload the former Lille man.
