Alisson Becker is without question one of the best goalkeepers in world football.In the eyes of Liverpool fans, he is the finest of all those plying their trade in the position right now and to be honest, it's hard to argue with them.In one-on-one situations, Alisson is outrageously good and regularly bails out Liverpool when their high defensive line gets caught out.The Brazil international is also brilliant with the ball at his feet, which is further highlighted by the fact he has two Premier League assists on record - both for Mohamed Salah.Last season, Alisson was at the peak of his powers. The former AS Roma man kept 27 clean sheets in his 53 appearances across all competitions, conceding only 41 goals in that time.The numbers speak for themselves.And during one of the appearances in which he kept a clean sheet last season, Alisson produced a save that still boggles our minds.

That right there is why you pay £67 million for a goalkeeper. We're still not quite sure what Joel Matip was doing, although it's possible his brain was broken for a few seconds after witnessing Alisson's heroics.

When it comes to the topic of the best goalkeeper in the world, a definitive answer cannot really be given, as every football lover has differing opinions on the matter.
The fact there are so many world-class players in the position - Thibaut Courtois, Ederson, Edouard Mendy, Jan Oblak and Manuel Neuer to name a few - makes it all the more harder.
But Alisson ticks every single box for a modern day goalkeeper and Liverpool fans certainly wouldn't swap him for anyone else.
