Celtic have been 'keeping tabs' on Antoine Semenyo for a prolonged period of time and they remain interested in luring the Bristol City striker to Parkhead, according to journalist Pete O'Rourke.
The Bhoys are looking to build on a season where they won the Scottish Premiership and Scottish League Cup, so boss Ange Postecoglou is eager to add Semenyo to his squad.

Bristol City boss Nigel Pearson has revealed that Semenyo is unlikely to feature until September after sustaining an injury, but that has not deterred his suitors.
It is understood that the Championship side have already turned down a £9million offer from an unnamed club since the transfer window reopened last month.
Bristol City slapped a £20million price tag on Semenyo after Nottingham Forest failed with a bid in January, but Celtic are still among the frontman's admirers.
The 22-year-old's agent, Tony Finnigan, has previously told Football Scotland that the Bhoys hold a serious interest in his client and revealed that scout Craig Strachan had been in contact.
It comes after it emerged that Strachan had been sent to Ashton Gate to watch Semenyo in action against Queens Park Rangers in February.
What has Pete O'Rourke said about Semenyo?
O'Rourke believes Celtic's interest in Semenyo will not go away as they have been long-term admirers.
The journalist feels the reigning Scottish Premiership champions will continue to track his progress even if they fail to get a deal over the line before the September 1 deadline.
O'Rourke told GIVEMESPORT: "If it doesn't happen during this summer transfer window, he is probably somebody who might reemerge on the scene for the January transfer window.
"Celtic have been keeping tabs on him for a while and I'm sure that will continue."
Why is Semenyo of interest to Celtic?
Having taken over as Celtic's manager last summer, Postecoglou will be looking to secure back-to-back titles.
Semenyo - who is expected to cost in the region of £15million - could go a long way towards retaining the top flight crown as he enjoyed a hugely productive 2021/22 campaign, finding the back of the net eight times and recording a further 12 assists.
The one-cap Ghana international has now scored 18 goals during the early stages of his club career, so it is clear that he would add plenty of firepower to Celtic's squad.
Statistics also show that Semenyo averaged more assists per 90 minutes than current Bhoys frontmen Georgios Giakoumakis and Albian Ajeti last season, emphasising that he is capable of creating opportunities as well as getting his own name on the scoresheet.
