Giorgio Chiellini nearly scored a 35-yard rocket in his most recent appearance for Los Angeles Football Club.
Chancing his luck from range is a particularly rare feat for Chiellini, and the Italian is probably one of the last centre-backs you'd expect to be trying to recreate a Daniel Agger-esque thunderbolt.
However, with several of his old Juventus chums watching on from the sidelines, Chiellini clearly thought 'to hell with it' and launched one from way back.
The thing is, it was a pretty brilliant attempt and after it clattered off the post and Chiellini looked to the stands in disbelief, the overriding thought must have been something to do with why on earth he doesn't do that kind of thing more often.
The game
The match contested between LAFC and Seattle Sounders at the Banc of California Stadium would see both Gareth Bale and Chiellini make their home debuts for the club.
The Welshman was subbed on in the second half to the adulation of the home support.
Meanwhile Chiellini started the game and played 71 minutes, as Leonard Bonucci, Manuel Locatelli and Angel Di Maria amongst others from the Juventus squad watched on.
Seattle went 1-0 up on the night, but first half goals from Kwadwo Opoku and Carlos Vela re-asserted control for Los Angeles and they ran out eventual winners.

The strike in question
The highlight of the game, though, came when Chiellini picked up the ball in acres of space and advanced towards the opposition goal.
With no real passing opportunities available to him and a clear sight of goal, it really would have been quite rude of the Italian not to let one rip in front of his adoring new support.
He unleashed a surprisingly vicious strike with his left-foot that remained low to the ground and seemed destined to nestle in the bottom corner.
But it wasn't quite to be as it cannoned off the post to the relief of the flailing keeper.
