Triple H was appointed as the Head of Creative for WWE this week, taking over from his father-in-law, Vince McMahon.

Vince retired from WWE last week, with his various roles within the company being redistributed as a result.

Stephanie McMahon was appointed as the Chairwoman of WWE. She'll also serve as the company's co-CEO alongside Nick Khan.

And as we've already covered, Triple H has become the Head of Creative, a role that many people assumed would be taken over by Bruce Prichard, Vince's long-time right-hand man.

Many fans were excited to see what WWE shows are going to look like under Triple H, especially considering how popular his run in charge of NXT was.

Triple H has done nothing to temper expectations either, as he'd made a rather bold claim about the future of WWE TV.

Speaking to the media in Nashville ahead of SummerSlam tonight, Triple H said that his hope is that Raw and SmackDown are going to be the best they've ever been under him.

You can watch Triple H's interview with the media below, where he spoke about a variety of topics, including the possibility of Paul Heyman becoming involved with the creative team.

While it's only early days, fans are already pinpointing little changes that they believe Triple H has made to the WWE product over the last couple of days.

However, big changes won't have happened just yet, but rumours have indicated that the former WWE Champion is planning something big for SummerSlam tonight.

With it being his first proper show in charge of WWE programming, reports state that Triple H wants to make a "big creative splash" at the show, which has the potential to be really quite exciting.

There's no word on what 'The Game' is planning, and the report, which you can see above, does note that he won't make a rash decision for the sake of it, but the report came as exciting news for fans online.

GiveMeSport will have live coverage of tonight's WWE SummerSlam show, so make sure you stay tuned later on tonight for any big news that may come out of the show in Nashville.

You can watch WWE SummerSlam, featuring Roman Reigns v Brock Lesnar, live tonight in the US on Peacock and in all other international markets including the UK on the WWE Network.
