Bobby Lashley sends clear as day message to Brock Lesnar

We may not see Brock Lesnar back in a WWE ring for a while now following his SummerSlam defeat, but one WWE star still thinks they have unfinished business.

2022 has probably the most eventful year in wrestling history, but the year kicked-off with the dream match meeting between Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley at the Royal Rumble.

Fans have been speculating what a match would look like between these two for years, and they finally got their wish in January as the two behemoth’s locked horns.

At the event it was Bobby Lashley who was victorious over the Beast Incarnate, thanks to an interference from Roman Reigns that led to their clash at WrestleMania.

However, speaking to Lucha Libre Online where he discussed his rivalry with the former UFC Champion, the Almighty said that he believes there’s still more to come between the pair in the future.

“We didn’t get it all. We got a little teaser. I think there’s some unfinished business. Brock has been consistent like this for the last 20 years.”

Following that victory over Lesar, the 46-year-old went on to defend the WWE Championship inside the Elimination Chamber but was then taken out of the match due to an injury. Allowing Lesnar to pin Theory and win back his title.

Lashley now holds the US Championship and successfully defended the belt this past Saturday at SummerSlam defeating Theory. And Bobby admits he has one eye on a possible Suvivor Series meeting with Gunther, who currently holds the Intercontonetnal Title.

He told BT Sport;

“I think an interesting matchup that I heard a couple of times is Gunther. I think just him being my counter on the other show. I think it’s something that is kind of intriguing. He’s a tough, tough, tough competitor. I mean, he’s been doing some big stuff and he just went right up to the top right away. So I think it’s an interesting matchup. It’s a matchup that I think that we can kind of build towards. Maybe we can do that at Survivor Series or we can do that a little later on in the year, but it’s something definitely that I’m interested in.”
