Rhea Ripley has been taking the WWE by storm, with fans beginning to call for her to be pushing for a title shot instead of being teamed up with a tag team duo standing ringside.

Unfortunately for fans of the Nightmare, she recently suffered brain and teeth injuries, preventing her from getting that title shot she was scheduled for during Money in the Bank.

The extent of her injuries also kept her sidelined for the most recent pay-per-view, SummerSlam, with fans being left waiting if they want to see her back in the ring and continuing her rise to the top.

Despite that, she did still make an appearance at SummerSlam during the No Disqualification match between tag-teams The Mysterios and The Judgement Day. She was ringside in support of the latter and was able to interfere given the No DQ rules.

Australian Ripley was on top form throughout the match, getting involved from ringside to help her team during the match. She executed her moves perfectly despite her injuries, showing just how tough she is and why she is held in such high regard.

Unfortunately for Ripley, her involvement wasn’t enough to help The Judgement Day taste victory as Edge returned and speared the duo, playing a huge role in The Mysterios finally getting the win after a trademark double 619.

Thankfully, though, it’s a sign of things to come for Ripley, who wasn’t deemed a long-term injury doubt, with her SummerSlam ringside return a clue that she may be back in action sooner rather than later.

It’s safe to say she has been keeping up her training regime despite the nature of her injury whilst being sidelined for a month, although she hasn’t featured in a full on singles match as of yet.

A video has been shared on social media of Ripley ringside, prowling like a lion ready to pounce when necessary to help her team. The video posted pays homage to the shape she managed to keep herself in.

Once again, it’s just a testament to her work ethic to remain in perfect condition to bounce straight back and feature on the big stage once again when called upon and when she gets the all clear.

Given her SummerSlam involvement, the all clear has either already been given or she was given the all clear to have a minor involvement. Surely it’s only a matter of time until Ripley is back entertaining us on her own and getting her title shot.
