WWE 2K22 has been a huge hit since its release but will it have any more downloadable content over the next few months?

The wrestling simulation has been a remarkable success story given just how badly WWE 2K20 was received by critics and fans alike.

WWE 2K20 has a user score of just 1.7 on PS4 on Metacritic, along with a critical score of 43 from 29 critical reviews.

2K22, by comparison, has a Metacritic score of 77 on PS5 and a user score of 7.4.

There have been a number of DLC packs already within this year’s release, bringing a clutch of new wrestlers and celebrities into the game.

Thus far, the following wrestlers have been added to the game: Umaga, Rikishi, Yokozuna, Omos, Kacy Catanzaro, Cactus Jack, Ilja Dragunov, Vader, The Boogeyman, Indi Hartwell, Wes Lee, The Hurricane, A-Kid, Stacy Keibler, Doink The Clown, Ronda Rousey, The British Bulldog, Rick Boogs, Doudrop, Mr T, Commander Azeez, Machine Gun Kelly, Logan Paul, Rob Van Dam, LA Knight, Sarray and Xia Li.

There are constant updates to WWE’s roster, however, with the likes of Cody Rhodes returning from rival promotion AEW, although he isn’t playable in the game.

Will there be further DLC?

Cactus Jack WWE 2K22

The answer to this, sadly, is no. 2K always announce their DLC packs well in advance and have not done so beyond the most recent pack.

However, all is not lost.

Community Creations is a place where the best creators from across the gaming community upload some of the most photo-realistic replicas of the top wrestlers from outside WWE.

While there won’t be any more updates to the roster, you can download the likes of Cody, Kenny Omega, Kazuchika Okada, and all the stars from other promotions across the globe.

You can also download the likes of new arenas, belts, and even entrances within the creation suite, or you can create them yourself.

It’s your best bet.
