A seven-time NBA All-Star is still a free agent after spending his career with the Boston Celtics, Atlanta Hawks, and Houston Rockets, among others.

Joe Johnson, a seven-time NBA All-Star, will still be available for signing on August 1, 2022. Over the course of his career, the 41-year-old has played for the Houston Rockets, Miami Heat, Utah Jazz, Phoenix Suns, Brooklyn Nets, and Boston Celtics.

One of the most reliable players of all time, he was selected by the Celtics with the tenth overall choice in the 2001 NBA Draft. He qualified for the All-Star Game with the Hawks six times in a row from 2007 to 2012, which is a remarkable run.

His career averages in 1,277 regular season games are 16.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 3.9 assists. Additionally, he has 120 career playoff games under his belt, with averages of 15.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 3.1 assists.

Joe Johnson is still a free agent

The Pro Basketball Hall of Fame's Joe Johnson has decided not to extend his agreement with the Pro Basketball League. He explains how his line of work has shaped him: "Being a professional and doing all it takes to win is the most important thing for me."

Johnson most recently participated in this past season's Celtics game on a 10-day contract. He participated in just one game, which was his first NBA action since joining the Rockets in 2018.

He would still be a wonderful addition for many clubs even at his advanced age because of his positive locker room presence. He was competing in Atlanta, Georgia's AEBL Pro-Am league on Sunday.

There is little doubt that he is still capable of playing, and with a few minutes off the bench, he may benefit a team. He may be used as depth for a club that is a contender, and he could serve as a solid mentor for a new team.

One of the greatest NBA players of all time, Joe Johnson is currently a free agent. He explains in this piece how his line of work has affected him and why he has decided not to extend his contract with the Pro Basketball League.

The two most important lessons he has learned from his career, according to him, are the value of being a professional and doing everything it takes to succeed. Joe Johnson's advice is certain to be helpful for any young person who is trying to find their way in life or who aspires to play basketball.
