Roman Reigns’ wrestling ability was on full show against Seth Rollins back in 2016, and fans spotted the small moment he guided his opponent through a move that had previously injured his former Shield teammate.

Reigns didn’t become the undisputed world champion of WWE for nothing. The 37-year-old wrestler has his fair share of critics, but his ring work deserves plenty of appreciation.

He is the longest-reigning WWE Universal Champion and the current reigning WWE Champion, while also becoming one of the sport’s biggest names, and he’s been in his fair share of blockbuster events.

Going from one of the WWE’s poised heroes to the sport’s “Tribal Chief” villain, Reigns has done it all in the ring, and he’s cemented his name in the wrestling history books.

But while his persona in the WWE has constantly been debated, his ability is undeniable, and it has never been clearer than during his match against Seth Rollins in 2016.

The duo faced off six years ago during WWE Money in the Bank 2016, and a small tweak by Reigns was spotted by fans.

Rollins was forced to drop his WWE Championship seven months prior after a knee injury forced him to the sidelines, but he returned to face the newly-crowned Reigns in a highly-anticipated main event.

Reigns landed two Superman punches during the match, but Rollins executed a Pedigree to win back his title.

However, during Rollins’ victory, fans spotted a moment where Reigns helped guide his opponent through a sun-set flip - the same move that had previously injured Rollins.

Reigns ensured his leg landed safely before executing the move.

Although small, Reigns’ actions showed his extreme awareness in the ring, earning him plenty of plaudits after the event.

Unfortunately for Rollins, though, directly after reclaiming his title, Dean Ambrose’s theme music began to play and he struck Rollins with the Money in the Bank briefcase to clinch the title in a dramatic finale.

That's not the main talking point of this story, however, the main talking point is how safe and wise Reigns was during that spot, ensuring that Rollins landed successfully and without re-injuring himself.
