There is an incredibly exciting change incoming for WWE matches and promo segments, a new report has claimed.

Triple H is now in control of WWE TV, taking over as Head of Talent Relations and Head of Creative last month.

The change was made after Vince McMahon's retirement, with Triple H now essentially people the man in charge of Raw, SmackDown and Premium Live Events.

The change is one that has excited fans, with SummerSlam and Raw last night, both shows produced by HHH, being received very well by fans.

One of the changes that Triple H has brought in, according to reports, is to give talent on the show more freedom in their matches and promos.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider is reporting that, unlike under Vince McMahon, talent are not expected to be heavily scripted under the new regime of WWE.

One major change that has happened over the last several weeks in WWE is the loosening up of freedom for the talents when they speak on the mic, allowing them to improvise more.

The extends to not just promos, but matches too, with the report explaining that the fact Sheamus v Drew McIntyre on SmackDown wasn't so scripted is why it was received so well online after the fact.

We are told that a big part of what made the Sheamus vs. Drew McIntyre match so great on Smackdown last week is at least a sizeable portion of the match was called in the ring vs. every single spot laid out to them ahead of times.

The news is one that come as music to the ears of WWE fans, many of whom have been calling for talent to be given additional freedom in their matches and segments for a number of years now.

We are already beginning to see the start of a new regime in WWE, with changes over the last couple of shows being pretty clear to see.

On last night's episode of Raw, Ciampa was featured heavily and pushed throughout the show, a clear sign from Triple H that the former NXT Champion's fortunes are changing now that he's in charge.

As well as that, with the debut of the Bayley, IYO SKY and Dakota Kai faction, there was a renewed focus put onto the women's division, as well as a push for the United States Championship.

You can watch WWE Raw live every single week in the US on the USA Network and over in the UK on BT Sport.
