Jake Paul believes he could beat Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez in a boxing match because he has a similar fighting style to Dmitry Bivol.
The Problem Child's huge August 6 test against Hasim Rahman Jr at New York's iconic Madison Square Garden has been cancelled after the latter failed to make the agreed upon 205lbs weight limit for the Showtime pay-per-view at The World's Most Famous Arena.
Meanwhile, Canelo Alvarez will return to the ring next month on September 17 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas in a trilogy fight against the Kazakh.
Paul, 25, is hoping to face the dangerous Mexican before he eventually calls time on his career.

And even though he has only been a professional for two years with just five fights previously, Paul insists he would ease past the king of the super-middleweight division.
Speaking on talkSPORT, he said: “I still think Canelo and I is one of the biggest fights to be made in boxing and I know I could beat him.
“People laugh at that, but Dmitry Bivol showed he is very beatable and I have a style, range, speed and power similar to Bivol.

“So, stylistically when you put us in there it’s not going to be a great night for Canelo.”
It remains to be seen if the pair will ever actually fight, as they are both at different stages of their careers.
But Paul's training partner Anthony Taylor insisted it is still a very real possibility despite the gap in age and experience.
Taylor told MyBettingSites: "I think Jake Paul and Canelo will happen, I don't think it's just hype.
"I mean, we're talking about Jake in three years from now of course, not right now, Jake is good, but imagine how much better he'll get in three years from today.
"He's only going to get better, he's only going forward. Jake will be ten times better than Jake Paul of today and he would be competitive.
"Canelo will be a Hall of Famer, but give Jake a few years. Jake's a bigger guy, taller, longer than Canelo, but we can't disregard Canelo's skill set. Now Jake is still learning in this game, but give him a few years.

“Jake has changed the game in combat sports. He’s using his platform to advocate for better women’s pay in boxing. He’s also advocating for MMA fighters to have better pay and health insurance. He’s using his platform and using his own money, helping fighters out.
“You notice no professional boxers are badmouthing Jake anymore, he’s been accepted because they see that Jake is doing good for boxing. Without Jake, honestly, boxing would be boring. Jake’s makes it fun.
"Jake has also opened the path for these social stars to fight. He’s changed the game. Now people are starting to really warm up to Jake.
"They understand Jake is not a bad guy. He’s actually advocating for great things. You don’t see Conor McGregor and Mayweather doing it, using their platform to help others.”
