The 2022/23 Premier League season is very nearly upon us.

On Friday evening, Arsenal and Crystal Palace do battle at Selhurst Park to kick things off after nearly two months without top-flight football.

It's been a long wait, hasn't it?

In 2022/23, we'll be honouring 30 years of Premier League action and we here at GIVEMESPORT want to celebrate one era of the division in particular: the 2000s.

It truly was a great era for English football, a time where the on-pitch action was consistently brilliant, the television coverage was top notch and VAR wasn't around to spoil the party every single weekend.

Oh and the 2000s also saw the emergence of a new European superpower in the form of Chelsea thanks to Roman Abramovich's takeover.

The Blues, Manchester United and Arsenal were the teams to be crowned Premier League champions during the marvellous era that was the 2000s.
