FIFA 23 is edging closer by the day – so why don't we predict the top 5 best passers in the new game?

FIFA has had many maestros that have insane passing statistics in the past. The likes of Andres Iniesta, Xavi, Paul Scholes and of course – the absolute genius that is Andrea Pirlo have all featured that have all been right up there with the best passers to ever exist in world football.

But all these players have sadly retired from the sport, so a new era of pass masters are now in FIFA - but which players will have the best passing stats on the game?

5 - Trent Alexander-Arnold

At number five is Liverpool's flying full-back, Trent Alexander-Arnold.

The 23-year-old established himself as one of the best passers in the world at such a young age and will only improve. We may see him even higher in our predictions in years to come.

From a relatively new kid on the block, evolving into a world-class midfielder and maturing like a fine wine - Toni Kroos.

The German is knocking on a bit, but what's undeniable is his passing technique has not been lost. We predict he'll have 90 passing in FIFA 23.

One of the great magicians of the 21st century, Messi can do it all - but passing is one of his top-tier attributes. He comes in at third.


2 - Luka Modric
