The UFC is set to return this Saturday, August 5th from the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, but is the event free to watch?

There are a number of great fights set to take place on the card, with a Light Heavyweight main event between Thiago Santos and Jamahal Hill.

Unlike UFC PPV events, which tend to be around $74.99 in the United States and aired on BT Sport in the UK, UFC Fight Night events such as UFC Vegas 59 are slightly different.

Is UFC Vegas 59 free to watch? In a word, no.

Although the UFC Fight Night events tend to be FAR cheaper than their PPV counterparts, you still need to be subscribed to a couple of different services to actually watch all of the action.

When it comes to the Prelims for UFC Vegas 59, these will be available to view on UFC FIGHT PASS.

UFC FIGHT PASS is an OTT streaming service from the biggest MMA promotion on the planet, and it gives fans access to every Early Prelims and Prelims fight on every UFC PPV and Fight Night throughout the year.

A subscription for UFC FIGHT PASS works out at £6.99 monthly or you can sign up for a year at a time for £71.99.

The Main Card is a slightly different proposition. For fight fans in the United Kingdom, the full Main Card for UFC Vegas 59 will be available to watch live on BT Sport.

BT is the UK home for the Ultimate Fighting Championships and has weekly features on the mixed martial arts promotion as well as the majority of fight cards as part of a standard paid subscription.

A monthly subscription to BT is available with or without BT Broadband, and as of writing the monthly pass costs £25.

Combat sports fans in the United States will be able to watch all of the Main Card action from UFC Vegas 59 by being subscribed to ESPN+.
