Wolves winger Adama Traore expects to stay at Molineux this summer, according to Daily Express journalist Ryan Taylor.

However, Taylor would not be surprised if someone made a late move for the Spaniard and thinks the Midlands club would consider that or any other proposal that arrives for him.

What is the latest news involving Traore?

90min recently reported that Traore, who has made 154 appearances for Wolves, is hoping to leave Bruno Lage's side this transfer window.

As per the same outlet, both Tottenham and Chelsea are interested in the 26-year-old, with the former long-term admirers.

The north London club targeted Traore back in the January transfer window, but the Spain international went on to join Barcelona on loan instead.

His spell at Barcelona, which was his second at the Camp Nou, was not the most productive, though. In total, he made just four starts in La Liga and failed to score a single goal.

What has Taylor said about Traore and Wolves?

Taylor has told GIVEMESPORT that there is an expectation from Traore's side that he will remain at Wolves this summer.

Speaking to GMS, the Daily Express journalist said: "He's in the final year of his contract. If they're going to lose him for free, maybe they should look to cash in, but there's not been much interest, which I'm very surprised at.

"Put him in any team in the Premier League, he will be effective. He might not be the finished article, but I wouldn't be surprised if someone came in with a late move for him. But, at the moment, he still expects to stay at Wolves, but they will look to entertain bids if they do come."

Will Traore join Tottenham or Chelsea this window?

Tottenham and Chelsea's interest in Traore does not look to be that strong. Spurs have already bought Djed Spence and also have Matt Doherty and Emerson Royal on their books, so a move for Traore seems unlikely.

While Traore is naturally a winger, there was talk during the last transfer window about Antonio Conte wanting to bring him in to play at right wing-back.

At Chelsea, that could still be a possibility, with Thomas Tuchel looking for a player in that position. However, according to The Guardian, the German is currently eyeing Southampton's Kyle Walker-Peters and Inter Milan's Denzel Dumfries in a blow to Traore.

Considering all of the above, it would be a surprise if Traore did end up at Stamford Bridge or the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer.
