Lionel Messi has played with some phenomenal players – but who is the most incredible XI he’s ever played with over the years?

The Argentinian footballing phenomenon has a hell of a trophy cabinet. He’s won Champions Leagues, La Ligas, a Ligue 1 and even the Copa America – but he’s certainly had some help with some brilliant teammates along the way.

Jordi Alba has been a fantastic servant at Barcelona and is undoubtedly the most outstanding left-back for Messi to have played with an ever-reliable full-back with blistering pace.

Our first non-Barcelona player is Spanish centre-half Sergio Ramos. Enemies at former clubs, united in Paris – although Ramos has slightly fallen off in terms of talent, he’s undoubtedly one of the best players to have ever played with Messi, given his career at Real Madrid.
