Lewis Hamilton is never one to simply stop when it comes to Formula 1's summer break, and he's already been getting up to some pretty fun-looking activities as the sport enters its annual shutdown.

We won't be racing for another three weeks with the Belgian Grand Prix up next on August 28th, and so it's the time of the year where the drivers and teams get a chance to reflect on the season so far, and recharge for the battles ahead, with several long-haul flights and faraway races around the corner as we approach the conclusion of the campaign.

That's for then, though, and in the now Lewis has found a pretty cool hobby to keep himself occupied, with him teaming up with MotoGP's current world champion, Fabio Quartararo to take to the water on what can only be best described as motorised surfboards.

Lewis shared the footage on his official Instagram channel, with him and Quartararo pulling off a fair few stunts in the short clip:

Lewis certainly isn't one for sitting still in his break, and we're surely going to see plenty more activities between now and the end of the summer that he gets up to.

On the track, he's also found some good form in recent weeks having racked up a number of podiums as the Mercedes W13 car continues to improve.

That first elusive race victory of the season might not be too far away.
