She may have suffered a severe shoulder injury on Saturday night, but there’s nothing stopping Becky Lynch from already prepping for her return. Lynch injured her shoulder during her Raw Women’s Championship defeat to Bianca Belair at SummerSlam this past weekend in a match in which signalled a face turn for Big Time Becks. In an emotional promo the following night on Raw, Becky returned to her former guise as ‘The Man’ and heaped praise on her rival Belair following the year-long rivalry.Lynch confirmed the status of the injury and means she’ll be out of action for a number of months while the shoulder recovers.

However, no separated shoulder can stop Lynch from starting her road to recovery. In a post to her social media page, just days after the injury, you can see the 35-year-old already in the gym working out.

Her injured shoulder is in a sling, but the photo is shared with the caption ‘We don’t stop working. We simply adjust the work.’

Becky’s injury looks as though it has changed the path of the Raw Women’s Championship story on Monday Night Raw. The return of Bayley, Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai look like a set up to face both Bianca Belair and Lynch going forward.

However, following the news that Lynch would face time on the side-lines, it looks as though Belair has found backup in the form of Asuka and Alexa Bliss.

Kai had been released by the company in April but made a last-minute return at SummerSlam alongside former NXT Women’s champion Io Shirai – now known as Iyo Sky.
