Wrestling fans are convinced that WWE star The Miz has been spotted during the introductory phase from the first episode of the Netflix documentary “Woodstock 99.”

The three-part docuseries focuses on the controversial Woodstock festival held in July, 1995 in Rome, New York.

With cameras providing a glimpse at festival-goers and overhead shots spanning over mass crowds, one particular striking scene depicts a shirtless young man roaring at a passing cameraman.

The words “Woodstock ’99, baby! Yeah!” are clearly recognisable and some shrewd spotting from fans has led to the assumption that the man in question is indeed former two-time WWE Championship holder The Miz.

The resemblance could be described as uncanny, but delve deeper and you might just find the inebriated, revelling figure might be none other than The Miz himself - what are the chances!?

If The Miz’s – real name Michael Mizanin – Instagram posts are anything to go by, there may just be a chance that WWE fans have discovered a needle in the haystack and unearthed an easter egg.

Eagle-eyed fans consolidated the murmurings by finding an old post on his Instagram, with The Calgary Kid proclaiming his chosen workout music for the day is an ode to Limp Bizkit, who he saw live at none other than Woodstock ’99.

It hardly takes the innate detective ability of Sherlock Holmes to recognise that The Miz might have had the camera on him earlier than we thought.

Since his boisterous early days, The Miz has gone on to become a successful and prominent name in professional wrestling, and has clearly directed his energy towards a fruitful path as he continues to perform to this present day.
