We are a month away from WWE’s biggest UK show for thirty years, Clash at the Castle, which takes place from the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.

The event is set to be headlined by the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match between champion Roman Reigns and the UK’s own Drew McIntyre.

GiveMeSport suggests five other things we need to see happen on September 3.

Kross bags a belt

Karrion Kross is back in WWE

Karrion Kross made a surprise comeback to WWE on Friday Night SmackDown and inserted himself straight into the main event picture by attacking Drew McIntyre and sending a message to Roman Reigns. Now there are major rumours that WWE are set to finally spilt the world titles once again and that Kross is in prime position to be the man to take one of those titles off the Tribal Chief. Why not set a marker down and have it happen inside the Principality Stadium to really give the historic show a standout moment.

The Women’s Tag Team Title’s finale

New WWE Women's Tag Team Champions will be crowned soon

Wrestling folk love a tournament and it was announced on Friday Night SmackDown that a tournament for the vacated Women’s Tag Team Titles would begin this Monday on Raw. Now, there isn’t a lot of candidates for the belts right now, so it will be interesting to see what teams make up the brackets for the belts. However, one thing that would benefit both the titles and the show in Cardiff is to have the finale of the tournament happen at Clash at the Castle. That way the championships are given a major stage and the event is guaranteed to see new champions.

Tegan to get a kick

Tegan Nox is rumoured to be heading back to WWE

We’ve seen a slew of comebacks from some of Triple H’s most favoured NXT stars since he took charge and another name on that list could well be Wales’ own Tegan Nox. Nox was released by WWE in November but was highly thought of during The Game’s reign on NXT, and given Clash of the Castle takes place in her homeland, it’s the perfect time to reintroduce her to the company. It’s the closest WWE are going to get to having a main roster star getting a home crowd pop.

NXT in line

Moustache Mountain split-up on WWE NXT UK

With Triple H now in charge of the show, there is a much better chance of seeing some NXT UK representation on the show. It’s fair to say the UK’s brand has felt a little bit unloved in recent times, so what better way to showcase the tremendous talent we have in this country then having some involvement in Cardiff. A multi-man tag team match would make the most sense, as it means it can include the Welsh duo of Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster as well as the feuding Moustache Mountain.

A nod to 92

WWE SummerSlam 1992 took place at Wembley Stadium

Clash at the Castle is the first UK stadium show in thirty years…you may have heard this before. SummerSlam 1992 at Wembley was the last WWE host an event inside such an arena and there would be nice to have a nod to the anniversary of the show. Triple H is a man who leans on the history of the business and whether it’s a recreating a memorable entrance – Legion of Doom anyone? – an appearance from Bret Hart or Davey Boy Smith’s family, or something even more subtle, acknowledging its anniversary on the follow-up that’s taken so long to happen would receive a big pop from the UK crowd.
