England's Commonwealth history-making divers

England finished at the top of the diving medal table for the third Games running after cleaning up at both the 2014 and 2018 Games. However, this year's haul of 15 medals is a new record for the country and one that will certainly be tough to match.

The first diving gongs of the 2022 Commonwealth Games came when Jack Laugher took gold in the men's 1m springboard final, followed by Spendolini-Sirieix claiming the women's 10m platform title and Toulson banking second place on Thursday.

Laugher then teamed up with Anthony Harding to win the men's synchronised 3m springboard final and topped his medal count off with bronze in the 3m springboard individual event.

Williams and Matty Lee took gold in the men's synchronised 10m platform, Amy Elizabeth Rollinson earned the women's 1m springboard bronze, and a stunning performance from England in the men's 3m springboard final saw Daniel Goodfellow, Jordan Houlden, and Laugher claim gold, silver and bronze respectively.

Spendolini-Sirieix's medals kept coming on Saturday when she partnered Eden Cheng to silver in the women's synchronised 10m platform event, while Robyn Birch and Emily Martin took the bronze.

The final medals of the tournament came through Lee's bronze in the men's 10m platform final and of course, the iconic gold and silver finishes in the mixed synchronised 10m platform.
