Leeds are confident of completing the signing of Joel Robles, according to transfer insider Dean Jones.
The goalkeeper is expected to become Jesse Marsch's seventh signing of the transfer window when he arrives on a free transfer.

According to the Daily Mail, the 32-year-old will sign a one-year contract at Elland Road following the expiration of his deal at Real Betis, where he's spent the last four seasons.
Robles will provide competition and cover for Illian Meslier, with Leeds in desperate need of an older goalkeeper after the club terminated Kiko Casilla's terms last month.
With Casilla out on loan last season, youngster Kristoffer Klaesson was Meslier's backup last term, although he's still waiting to make his first senior appearance in English football.

Therefore, Robles will bring a wealth of experience to Marsch's goalkeeping department once he completes his move back to the Premier League.
And Jones reckons that Robles' switch to Yorkshire will go through once he successfully undergoes his medical.

"They're confident that will happen, they're happy that he will be a great option. He's a backup goalkeeper, but he's a very dependable one and one that they need in case Meslier has any problems."

Despite never quite managing to establish himself as a number one, Robles is a familiar name to those on English shores.
The ex-Spain Under-21 international spent six years in the Premier League, making 78 appearances across spells with Everton and Wigan, 51 of which came in the top-flight.
In fact, during his one campaign with the Latics, Robles managed to win the FA Cup, famously starting the final against Manchester City, when Ben Watson's goal caused one of the biggest shocks in recent history.
Overall, Robles has played 204 games in senior football across spells with Atletico Madrid, Rayo Vallecano and most recently Betis, where he claimed another domestic cup by winning the Copa del Rey, and should bring experience to Leeds' goalkeeping ranks, with Meslier and Klaesson just 22 and 21 respectively.
