There was a bizarre yet beautiful moment in the 2. Bundesliga clash between Eintracht Braunschweig and Darmstadt on Sunday afternoon.

Football is a sport where payers compete fiercely against each other.

Unfortunately, injuries are a part of the sport and sometimes they do occur.

However, the vast majority of footballers don't want to see one of their opponents get hurt during a match.

If they could prevent an opponent from picking up an injury - they would take action.

And that's exactly what Darmstadt captain, Fabian Holland, did during the match against Braunschweig.

In the 59th minute, Holland challenged for a header with Braunschweig's Bryan Henning.

Henning went over the top of Holland and looked to be falling onto the ground head first.

But Holland was determined to not let that happen.

The 32-year-old broke Henning's fall and made sure je landed on his feet.

As Henning then stood up, Holland was put in the exact same situation but managed to break his own fall.

A foul was given against Holland but he did not care at all as he shook hands with Henning and laughed about the beautiful yet comical moment.
