West Ham United boss David Moyes could welcome up to four more fresh faces to the London Stadium before the transfer window slams shut, according to transfer insider Dean Jones.

The Hammers got the new campaign underway with a 2-0 defeat to reigning Premier League champions Manchester City at the weekend, but Moyes has until September 1 to draft in reinforcements.

Who has been linked with a move to West Ham?

ExWHUemployee has revealed that West Ham could secure the services of Fenerbahce star Attila Szalai for £10million.

But Szalai is not the only defender on Moyes' radar as, according to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth, the Hammers have held initial talks with Paris Saint-Germain over the signing of Thilo Kehrer.

Although Spanish side Sevilla are also interested in Kehrer, West Ham are reportedly looking to reinforce their backline ahead of Sunday's trip to Nottingham Forest.

It is understood that Eric Bailly has been identified as another target as Manchester United are willing to sanction his sale for as little as £8million.

Away from the heart of the defence, journalist Simon Phillips has previously told GIVEMESPORT that Chelsea midfielder Ross Barkley has gained interest from West Ham.

What has Dean Jones said about West Ham's plans?

Having missed out on signing Amadou Onana, who has joined Everton, Jones believes West Ham will respond by being busy in the remainder of the summer window.

The journalist feels the Hammers could acquire up to four new stars before the deadline passes in less than a month.

Jones told GIVEMESPORT: "They are exploring all of these options at the moment.

"Onana was a disappointment, but not a massive one. I don't think that they thought he was going to completely change the dynamic of their squad.

"But I would definitely look out for three or four signings from West Ham before the end of the month."

Who have West Ham signed so far?

West Ham's spending spree got underway with Nayef Aguerd making the £30million switch from Rennes, while the Hammers returned to France to make Alphonse Areola's loan move permanent by paying Paris Saint-Germain £7.75million.

A further £12million was forked out as the east Londoners' prised Flynn Downes away from Championship side Swansea City before £35.5million was enough to sign Gianluca Scamacca from Italian outfit Sassuolo.

Maxwel Cornet became West Ham's latest arrival when they met the £17.5million release clause written into his Burnley contract, taking their summer outlay over £100million.
