Arsenal will "definitely" make more signings before the transfer window closes, claims transfer insider Dean Jones.

The north London club have already had a busy summer, bringing in five new faces, but it does not look like they have finished their business.

How have Arsenal's new signings started the season?

Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko, who both left Manchester City for the Emirates, starred in Arsenal's 2-0 win against Crystal Palace last Friday.

It was Zinchenko who helped the Gunners to score their first goal of the night after he assisted Gabriel Martinelli's opener at Selhurst Park.

Jesus was unable to grab a debut goal or provide an assist like Zinchenko, but the Brazilian still would have been pleased with his performance. As per WhoScored, no player managed to complete more dribbles than Jesus, who recorded six during the game.

Arsenal's other new additions did not feature. Matt Turner was an unused sub, while Fabio Vieira and Marquinhos were not in Mikel Arteta's matchday squad.

What has Jones said about Arsenal's transfer plans for the remainder of the window?

Jones expects Arteta and Edu to make a couple more signings before the market shuts and thinks that could raise the level of excitement at the Emirates again following Arsenal's capture of Jesus for £45m.

When asked if the Gunners could strengthen their squad further, the journalist told GIVEMESPORT: "Yeah, definitely they will, 100%. Arsenal's transfer business is not done. They want to make sure that they don't rest on this moment.

"They've had amazing momentum coming into the season, and to get two more players in now, before deadline, would just raise the bar again, raise the level of excitement again."

Who could Arsenal sign?

Arsenal continue to be heavily linked with Leicester City maestro Youri Tielemans. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, writing for CaughtOffside, has said the Belgian is still a target for the Premier League outfit.

Reports in Spain also suggest that Arsenal are interested in signing Villarreal's rising star Yeremy Pino.

According to one outlet, the Gunners and their rivals Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City are all keen on the 19-year-old winger.

Out wide is not an area Arteta has really managed to strengthen yet after the club missed out on signing Raphinha. They have, of course, brought in Marquinhos but, at 19 years of age, he is probably one for the future.

Therefore, it would not be a surprise if Arsenal signed at least a winger before September's deadline.
