Dexter Lumis has returned to WWE, and his first segment back was one of the most bizarre in company history.During Monday Night Raw last night, a chaotic segment in the parking lot where there appeared to be a car crash during an interview with Kevin Owens.WWE tried to play it up as completely legitimate, when in truth it was just part of a storyline that would play off later on in the night.

Then during the main event of the show, which saw AJ Styles beat The Miz in a No Disqualification match, Dexter Lumis appeared in the crowd before being removed by security.

Many fans have speculated that the two angles are linked, with it being likely that the car crash will be linked to Dexter's return during the next few weeks of Raw TV.

The cameras didn't get a proper look at the incident, again in an attempt to make fans believe that what they were seeing was something legitimate rather than part of the show.

However, fan footage gives us a better idea of what happened, and shows that the man being apprehended by security definitely was Dexter.

Hours before Raw last night, reports emerged indicating that WWE had made contact with Lumis to try and bring him back to the company.

So while a return seemed likely, not many fans expected Dexter to be back later that night, essentially in the manner that he did come back.

In April of this year, Lumis was released by WWE, with many fans feeling like the 38-year-old didn't fit the new way of doing things in NXT 2.0.

However, now that Triple H is heading up WWE Creative, the multi-time WWE Champion wanted to bring Dexter back, clearly being a big fan of his work.

The return segment is likely to play out more over the next couple of weeks of WWE TV, so keep an eye out for that one.

Lumis followed in the footsteps of Karrion Kross, Scarlett Bordeaux and Dakota Kai, all of whom were released by WWE over the last couple of months, but have now returned under Triple H.

They likely won't be the only returns too, with reports suggesting that Triple H and the new management team are going to be "aggressive" in his approach to bringing back former talent over the next couple of weeks.
