Bayley proved how much of a star she is with her recovery following a botch in her promo on WWE Raw last night.

Bayley opened up last night's episode of Monday Night Raw with a promo, standing alongside IYO SKY and Dakota Kai.

The former Raw and SmackDown Women's Champion spoke about how ridiculous it is that it took so long for the two talented former NXT stars standing alongside her to appear on the main roster.

However, Bayley made quite a big error in her promo, calling Dakota Kai "Dakota Sky", which she even picked up on.

To be fair to Bayley, Dakota and IYO's surnames do sound very similar, to it was always likely that someone was going to get them mixed up, and it just so happened to be her.

Realising her error though, Bayley proved she was an utter promo with her recovery, managing to get heel heat as a result.

I know I said it wrong you dummies. You guys better shut up so I can think.

The recovery should serve as a lesson to all WWE Superstars on how to get over gaffs that are inevitably going to be made in the ring and on the mic. Bayley proved that mistakes really aren't the end of the world.

Bayley returned to WWE at SummerSlam

Bayley returned to WWE at SummerSlam

Bayley returned to WWE at SummerSlam on July 30, making her first appearance on WWE TV in over 12 months following a lengthy layoff with a knee injury.

She didn't come alone though, bringing in Dakota and IYO with her, a real statement from Triple H on his intentions with the women in WWE.

She hasn't wrestled yet, but WWE confirmed on Raw last night that the 33-year-old will be making her in-ring return in Cardiff on September 3.

At the big Clash at the Castle show, WWE's first UK Premium Live Event since 1992, Bayley will team with Sky and Kai in the trio's first match as a faction.

The group, which is believed to be called 'Control', will take on Alexa Bliss, Asuka and Bianca Belair in a highly-anticipated six-woman tag team match.

Some have speculated that given the buzz around Bayley's return, she should be the person to dethrone Belair for the Raw Women's Championship.

That could also play into Becky Lynch's return from injury, whenever that may be, with Lynch potentially then being able to target Bayley and go after her title.
