Jake Paul has given his thoughts on the recent beef he’s had with fellow YouTuber and possible boxing opponent KSI.

The era of celebrity boxing is still very much alive and well. From professional athletes to YouTubers and beyond, this is a trend that currently shows no sign of slowing down.

Two men who have been at the forefront of this movement are Jake Paul and KSI, both of whom have taken part in some of the biggest matchups in this space over the course of the last few years.

Paul has taken the boxing ball and ran with it whereas KSI stepped away from the squared circle in favour of pursuing over ventures including his music career.

Now, with both men having fights fall through in the last couple of weeks, they’ve taken it upon themselves to revive a beef that’s existed for quite some time.

In a recent episode of his brother Logan’s podcast, ‘The Problem Child’ addressed the situation and made it clear that he doesn’t believe KSI actually wants to fight him.

“He feels the need to call me out on a daily, weekly basis, non-stop. It’s like cool, you can talk, you can say all of these things, no problem. I know you’re doing it to drive your businesses, drive the promotion for your fight and build your name up, but at the end of the day bro, you don’t want to fight me.

“When it boils down to that, man vs man, he’s scared. He’s ducking me, and he knows that. He knows I would beat the f*** out of him, otherwise why is he waiting for Alex Wassabi? Why is he doing a warm-up fight?”

“All this s*** back and forth, when it comes down to who really wants it, and who is backing their s*** up, it’s me. I’ll fight him whenever, wherever, I don’t give a f*** if he’s A side or whatever. I’ll do it for free.”

The Logan connection

Outside of his fight with Joe Weller, KSI’s main experience in combat sports came from his two-fight series against Logan Paul.

Following on from a draw in their first contest, the two had a rematch in late 2019 at the Staples Center that KSI managed to win via decision.
