Usyk has revealed that he has secured the rights to show the event live and for free in his home country of Ukraine.

Usyk’s promoter Alex Krassyuk explained how the deal came to fruition when talking to talkSPORT: “He intended to buy, but received it [free] for Ukraine.

Anthony Joshua will rematch Oleksandr Usyk in Saudi Arabia on August 20

As noted, this is a massive rematch for the British fighter, as a win here could propel him into an even bigger fight down the line against the likes of Tyson Fury or Deontay Wilder.

Although the intrigue for AJ vs Fury has certainly dropped quite a lot since Joshua lost to Usyk back at the Spurs ground, the hype levels could certainly start to build up again should AJ have an impressive win and performance in Saudi Arabia.

Should Joshua lose again as convincingly as he did in London? It is difficult to see where his career will be headed next.
