Crystal Palace want a cash deal for Wilfried Zaha if they are to sell him this summer, according to transfer insider Dean Jones.

Chelsea are said to have some interest in the winger, while Palace are also thought to be keen on a couple of their players. However, Jones says the south London club want their full valuation to be met, which could be up to £30m.

What is the latest news involving Zaha?

90min recently reported that Zaha has emerged as an option for Chelsea as Thomas Tuchel looks to add to his attack.

The football website has also claimed that Palace are interested in both Callum Hudson-Odoi and Conor Gallagher, who spent last season on loan at Selhurst Park.

Hudson-Odoi is searching for a club after telling Chelsea that he wants to leave on loan, while Gallagher is at risk of falling even further down the midfield pecking order at Stamford Bridge.

As per Sky Sports, the Blues are ready to sign Barcelona's Frenkie de Jong, which is not good news for Gallagher, who is already competing against N'Golo Kante, Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic for a starting spot in Tuchel's team.

What has Jones said about Zaha and Palace?

Jones has told GIVEMESPORT that Palace want Zaha's full asking price to be paid and that potential deals for Hudson-Odoi and Gallagher would probably have to be separate.

Speaking to GMS, the journalist said: "I think it [Hudson-Odoi and Gallagher] would be separate from an actual bid for Zaha because Palace would want a cash deal for him and they'd want his full valuation, which would be somewhere between 25 and 30 million."

Is Zaha worth £30m?

Yes. In fact, in this day and age, Zaha, who has been described as a "phenomenal player" by Palace co-owner Josh Harris, is probably worth much more.

He has been a consistent performer in the Premier League for years now, causing defenders up and down the country problems every week. According to Transfermarkt, in 278 top-flight appearances, the Ivorian has scored 61 goals and provided 41 assists.

What defenders will fear most about him, though, is his dribbling. Back in the 2019/20 season, he completed an impressive 4.3 dribbles per game - only Adama Traore (five) and Allan Saint-Maximin (4.7) averaged more (via WhoScored).

Considering all of the above, £25-30m is not a fair reflection of Zaha's ability. However, with the 29-year-old now into the final year of his contract, Palace are obviously not in a strong negotiation position.
