Last night on AEW Dynamite, saw the official reveal of the bracket for the upcoming AEW Trios Championship Tournament to crown inaugural champions.

Last month saw AEW reveal the brand new Trios Championships. The inaugural holders of the titles, will be determined at the upcoming All Out Pay-Per-View, where two of the best trios in AEW will collide in the final of the highly anticipated tournament.

The tournament was announced last night, with there being 8 trios in total, battling it out over the next few weeks to earn a spot to challenge for the titles in Chicago at All Out on September 4th.

The teams revealed for the tournament are the following: 

Death Triangle

Dark Order

House Of Black

Los Ingobernable de Faccion

Young Bucks and ?

Best Friends 

The two surprise entries in the tournament were the newly formed group of the Trustbusters, featuring the likes of Ari Daivari, Slim J and newly signed Parker Bordeaux, with all three men being impressive on AEW Dark over the past few weeks. The Trustbusters will look to make a statement, but they face their biggest challenge in the Best Friends.

Also, the Forbidden Door has been kicked back open as REV PRO British Heavyweight Champion and IWGP United States Champion Will Ospreay makes his return to AEW alongside Aussie Open to enter the tournament.

United Empire will collide in a dream match with Death Triangle in round 1 of the tournament. 

Other first-round matches in the tournament include The Young Bucks and a mystery partner taking on Andrade El Idolo, Rush and Dragon Lee of Los Ingobernable De Faccion. Also, the Dark Order will be looking for their first piece of AEW gold, but they will have to collide with The House Of Black.
