Last night on AEW Dynamite, the first match in the AEW trios tournament will take place next week on the special House Of Dragon presented edition of AEW Dynamite.

The match to kick off the highly anticipated trios tournament is Los Ingonerables de Faccion's Andrade El Idolo, Rush and Dragon Lee against The Young Bucks and a mystery partner.

First Matches Announced For House of The Dragon Edition Of AEW Dynamite, Trios Tournament Begins

Dynamite Quake By The Lake saw Los Ingobernables de Faccion make a statement as Rush and Andrade El Idolo defeated Death Triangle's The Lucha Brothers.

Rush and Andrade picked up the win by utilising ring IQ in the tornado tag team contest to take Penta out of the occasion by tying his mask to the ropes. Penta would demand himself to save his brother but couldn't remove his hands from his face leaving a 2-on-1 attack on Fenix.

Rush would take advantage and hit the shotgun dropkick, and Andrade would follow up with the hammerlock DDT to pick up a statement victory.

Andrade and Rush have the momentum going into next Wednesday after their opponents, the Young Bucks, have had a rollercoaster week or two. The former AEW Tag Team Champions are still on the hunt for a partner after they were turned on by Adam Cole and reDragon on Dynamite.

The Buck was saved by former AEW World Champion and ally Hangman Adam Page.

Last night, saw Matt and Nick Jackson give a proposition to their friend, but Hangman rejected to be in the Dark Order's corner.

Page said, "you should choose someone who never left you", fuelling the rumour mill as to who The Young Bucks' partner could be.

The main name being speculated is their long-time friend and ELITE ally, Kenny Omega.

Young Bucks Thought WWE Talked Them & Kenny Omega Into Signing Contracts

There have been rumours speculating for a while that AEW intends to have Omega back for AEW, and if this happens it will be a huge boost to the roster.

Omega has been out of action since he lost his AEW World Championship to Adam Page at last year's AEW Full Gear. Omega would be the obvious choice because of his history with Adam Cole and would shake up the roster.

There is no news on a confirmed date for an Omega turn, but fans are hopeful that 'The Best Bout Machine' will return to AEW television.

You can watch Young Bucks vs Los Ingobernable de Faccion on AEW Dynamite internationally on FITE TV.
