Arsenal are unlikely to spend big before the transfer deadline, but Mikel Arteta could still make a 'bargain signing' at the Emirates Stadium, according to Daily Star journalist Paul Brown.
The Gunners are back in European football this season, having finished fifth in the Premier League last term, and boss Arteta has been busy adding reinforcements to his squad.

Arsenal have been long-term admirers of Youri Tielemans and held internal discussions over the Leicester City midfielder since January.
However, the Gunners have baulked at the Foxes' £32million asking price, with the north Londoners believing the valuation is too high considering the Belgian's contract expires next summer.
Another midfielder who has caught the eye of Arteta is Juventus' Arthur and negotiations have reportedly taken place with the Italian giants.
Talks have also been held with AC Milan over Sandro Tonali, with a deal being on the cards if Arsenal meet the 22-year-old's £46million price tag.
It is understood that the Gunners could lure Villarreal winger Yeremy Pino to the Emirates Stadium if they lodge a bid worth £34million.
What has Paul Brown said about the situation?
Brown believes Arsenal are unlikely to splash the cash on any more fresh faces and, instead, Arteta is looking at securing recruits on the cheap.
The journalist has refused to rule out the possibility of the Gunners bolstering their squad with new signings for cut-price fees.
Brown told GIVEMESPORT: "I don't think Arsenal will spend much more money.
"I think they've had quite a good window and brought some good, key players in. I don't think there's a massive budget there for Arteta to keep spending.
"I think if they sign anyone else it might be more in terms of a bargain signing than one that makes you sit up and take notice."
