Last night's AEW Rampage featured the debut of The Trustbusters' Parker Boudreaux, as well as Orange Cassidy taking on Ari Daivari for bragging rights going into their trio's tournament match. Also, the AAA World Mixed Tag Championships were on the line as Sammy Guevara and Tay Melo defended against Dante Martin and Skye Blue.

Plus, Bryan Danielson returned to discuss his upcoming 2-out-of-3 falls match with Daniel Garcia on Dynamite.

Bryan Danielson promo-

Danielson took to the ring to give an update on his condition as he focused on the upcoming 2-out-of-3 falls match on Dynamite against the Jericho Appreciation Society's self-proclaimed "Dragon Slayer" Daniel Garcia.

Garcia interrupted Danielson and expressed that the veteran was his hero and that he had to beat his hero again to cement himself as the greatest technical sports entertainer of all time.

A fired-up Danielson passionately stated to Garcia that if he was his hero, then he wouldn't bother being the best sports entertainer but would become the best technical wrestler.

Sammy Guevara and Tay Melo ( c ) def Dante Martin and Skye Blue- AAA World Mixed Tag Championships

Martin and Blue came out the gate with a different tenacity after a disrespectful push from Guevara provoked Martin to take him down, and Blue took care of Melo.

Both teams would continue to go back and forth throughout the bout, with Martin hitting a tope suicida to Guevara on the outside.

The final moments saw Melo hit Martin with a vicious tornado DDT, and Blue would hit Guevara with a hurricanrana. Melo would take advantage and hit Blue with a superkick before dropping her with the Tay KO to pick up the victory.

Parker Boudreaux (w/ Slim J) def Sonny Kiss-

Boudreaux was making his Rampage debut and began the match with the same viciousness he has shown on AEW Dark, trapping Kiss in the corner and connecting with a series of hard-hitting shots.

Kiss would try to regain momentum but was immediately shut down and dropped with a huge slam giving Bordeaux the quick victory.

Gunn Club def Beardhausen-

The beginning of the bout saw Austin and Colten Gunn unable to deal with the size and power of Erick Redbeard as he shrugged off any attack thrown at him. The big man then followed with a huge lariat stunning the Gunn Club.

Austin Gunn would get some momentum back for his team after he prevented the Danhausen curse and dropped him with a sickening right hand to the jaw.

However, Redbeard would continue to be a problem, and it took a distraction from Billy Gunn to take him out of the match while the referee is distracted, this allowed Austin to hit the Fameasser on Danhausen to pick up the victory.

Post-match saw Billy Gunn give them a grilling before exiting the ring alone. A disappointed Gunn Club were then offered a business card once more by Stokely Hathaway.

FTW Champion HOOK interview-

Tony Schiavone interviews the new FTW Champion and is curious about what is next in the career of HOOK. He is then interrupted by Zack Clayton who laid out a challenge for the title which will take place next week on Rampage.

Orange Cassidy (w/ Best Friends) def Ari Daivari (w/ The Trustbusters)-

Cassidy began the match taunting Daivari by exiting and re-entering the ring whenever Daivari tried to get his hands on him.

Orange would continue to find his stride and drop Daivari with a signature hands-in pockets dropkick.

He looked to put away the match with the Orange Punch but was countered and dropped with a huge slam. Daivari tried to follow up with a clothesline, but Cassidy avoided it and he was able to hit the Orange Punch to pick up the victory.

Post-match saw Boudreaux and Slim J take out the other members of Best Friends. Sonny Kiss re-emerged to the ring to help Cassidy but turned heel and kicked Cassidy low and aligned with the Trustbusters.
