Conor McGregor continues to draw plenty of attention from the UFC fanbase.

For a fighter that has only fought four times in MMA in the last four years, and lost three of those fights, it is remarkable.

McGregor is very much the definition of a marmite character; you either love him or you hate him. However, no matter which side of the argument you sit on, it is impossible to ignore him.

The Irishman is continuing his rehab from the broken leg he suffered in his fight against Dustin Poirier in July of last year.

As incredible an athlete as Notorious has been, he has just turned 34, and needs to get back into the Octagon soon if he is to have a satisfying end to what has been a storied career in the UFC.

McGregor’s journey from plumber to box office fighter has been far from easy, with plenty of hurdles and controversies along the way.

The highest profile and most dangerous of McGregor’s indiscretions was the bus attack at UFC 223’s media day.

McGregor confronted a bus containing arch rival Khabib Nurmagomedov and other MMA fighters, throwing a range of objects at the departing coach.

Fighters Ray Bord and Michael Chiesa were injured by shards of glass from the broken windows and a range of charges were filed against McGregor.

Incidents such as these are not forgotten and particularly by fans of Khabib, as can be seen by this video.

An angry Khabib fan can be seen launching a bottle of water at McGregor’s head whilst he is talking to the press. Considering what has just happened, McGregor stays remarkably calm given his history of violent outbursts and simply ducks to avoid the projectile before telling the fan in question to shut up.

It is clear that the Russian man was angry at what McGregor was saying about his people, when referencing Khabib and his team, but McGregor brushed the situation off and continued to field questions.

For the Notorious, it is just another day in the office, and par for the course for the circus that is team McGregor.
