Great start to 2022/23

It wasn't a false dawn either because the north London club have transferred that summer promise into the season proper, opening up 2022/23 with wins over Crystal Palace and Leicester City.

And although two victories against mid-table opposition might not set the world alight, it's also the way in which Arsenal secured the six points that has inspired optimism with goals, gusto and guile aplenty.

Incredible atmosphere at the Emirates

Arsenal's home ground is regularly maligned for its ambience, or lack thereof, with both rival fans and Gooners alike opining that things just haven't been the same since the club moved away from Highbury.

However, while there is still a great deal of truth to that narrative, you certainly couldn't level that accusation against the Emirates when fans were basking in the Leicester triumph this weekend.
