Manchester United slumped to one of their most embarrassing Premier League defeats on Saturday afternoon as they were humbled by Brentford in London.

The Bees were positively buzzing as they rattled four goals past a woeful United defence before the referee even had the chance to blow for half-time.

The first goal came as a result of a miserable David de Gea error before an apologetic effort to beat the press led to the second.

There was only more pain to follow as Brentford swarmed, rubbing slat into the gaping United wounds in the west London sunshine.

While we were all under the impression that new manager Erik ten Hag had quite the mountain to climb, the fact that United are rock bottom of the league shows just how steep that ascent is going to be.

Unsurprisingly, the Red Devils were widely panned on social media as weary fans took to the platform to vent their heart-ache.

It's just the latest in a long line of painfully disappointing results and, in truth, the United faithful have every right to be well and truly fed-up with it all.

They aren't the only ones either, with former club legends also having their say on the utter shambles at the club.

Gary Neville got into quite the heated debate with Jamie Redknapp on live television and one can only imagine what Roy Keane might have been thinking as he watched United lurch towards another humiliation.

However, from amidst the ashes of fume and rage, impressionist Conor Moore has given us yet another moment of genius with a sketch from his pseudo-Sky Sports studio.

Moore, who has become world-famous for his uncanny impressions of global sporting icons, was up to his old tricks yet again following United's loss.

Taking up the roles of Roy Keane, Jamie Carragher, Gary Neville and Graeme Souness, Moore delivered a work of art that has unsurprisingly gone viral online.
