There is no doubt that Paddy Pimblett is a top drawer right now.

However, some will be concerned with what he does after a fight.

After impressing on the Cage Warriors scenes, Pimblett was finally signed by the UFC in 2021.

He would make his debut in September of 2021 against Luigi Vendramini. The Scouser would go on to knock Vendramini out in the first round, arriving at the company in true style.

His second fight was just as impressive. He submitted Rodrigo Vargas in the very first round once again to make it 2-0 with the biggest promotion in MMA.

‘The Baddy’ faced his toughest test yet back in July against Jordan Leavitt. However, he would go on to pass the test with flying colours, submitting his opponent once again, but this time in the second round.

After every fight so far in the UFC, fans have picked up on one of Pimblett’s habits and it's something he's very open and casual about himself.

The Liverpudlian appears to be a big foodie and has caused a real stir in the MMA community as to how much weight he gains after a fight.

Many fans, and fighters for that matter, feel as if he should stick to staying in shape if he stands any chance of becoming a champion.

Following the first UFC London fight against Vargas, Pimblett said that he would rather be “fat and happy” than “ripped and miserable.”

Pimblett is currently training in San Diego and attended last night’s UFC event, headlined by Marlon Vera and Dominick Cruz.

Speaking on his eating habits and weight, Pimblett said: “(The eating) has been going well.

“I probably (weigh around) 200 (lbs). When I’m a bit older, and once I start fighting ranked opponents, I will keep my weight down, but for now I enjoy putting a little bit of chub on.”

Pimblett's close friend and training partner Molly McCann is set to fight Erin Blanchfield in November at UFC 281, with many anticipating that Pimblett would be on the same card.

However, The Baddy confirmed that’s not the case and he is currently eyeing up a fight in December.
