Fortnite is famous for its iconic collaborations and if this teaser is anything to go by then the gaming community is in a for the ride.
This teaser came through the game’s radio station, which players listen to when driving in vehicles in Fortnite. This feature was introduced in Chapter 2: Season and it includes copyrighted music.
With Fortnite being no stranger to popular crossovers, ranging from Ariana Grande, Travis Scott, Marshmello, and BTS, it is safe to say that there is potentially another iconic collaboration on the way.
Icon Radio currently plays Marshal Mathers’ songs, popularly known as Eminem. What could this mean? Let’s find out below.
Is Eminem coming to Fortnite?
Update 17th August 2022: According to a tweet by @HYPEX, Fortnite has “officially” announced their collaboration with Eminem. Check out the tweet below:
According to popular data miner, iFireMonkey and Fortnite fans, the rapper could be joining the game. This is because the only songs played on Icon radio are the rapper’s songs.
Could Epic Games be hinting at a collab with him? Nothing has been confirmed yet, if there is any official confirmation we will keep you updated.
We also aren’t sure if this means there will be an Eminem in-game concert or just a skin, Epic Games will keep dropping a few hints as they normally do.
Additionally, TheAgentShadow also added that the likes of Bruno Mars were also featured on the radio before getting skins, we’ll just have to wait and see how all this unfolds.
If you needed more convincing, another famous and reliable leaker, HYPHEX also tweeted about it.
HYPEX also shared the 12 tracks that are currently playing on Icon Radio:
- Godzilla (ft. Juice WRLD)
- Headlights (ft. Nate Russ)
- Not Afraid
- Lighters (ft. Bruno Mars)
- Monster (ft. Rihanna)
- Walk on Water (ft. Beyoncé)
Even though both Epic Games and Eminem haven’t confirmed anything, this is pretty convincing that something’s brewing!
So, while we wait for more information on Eminem’s potential collab, get into a vehicle and listen to Eminem’s songs, for 53 minutes.
As we said, Fortnite is no stranger to crossovers and teasers, just last week, they teased the date of the Dragon Ball Z collab, which starts on Tuesday, 16th August.
Seems like there is a lot to look forward to when it comes to Fortnite’s next update, be sure to keep it tuned on GiveMeSport because we will share all we know regarding the next update.
