The Premier League is now in its third week for the 22-23 season, so here we have our predictions for how we think the fixtures will play out.

Despite being just two weeks in, the Premier League has thrown some major surprises at us already. Manchester United under new manager Erik ten Hag have been nothing short of abysmal, losing both fixtures including a hammering at Brentford which sees them sit dead bottom of the table.

We had an absolute classic between Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge, which ended with both Thomas Tuchel and Antonio Conte being sent off after something that can only be described as a little bit more than a handshake.

We look forward to what the rest of the Premier League holds, but for now, we look short-term to game week 3 and how that will play out.

So, with this - here are our predictions for game week 3 in the Premier League 22-23 season.

Tottenham vs Wolves

Antonio Conte's side have looked great in the opening fixtures, in contrast - Wolves have not. We can only see this ending one way with goals aplenty for Spurs.

Prediction: Tottenham 3 – 0 Wolves

Crystal Palace vs Aston Villa

Patrick Vieira's new-age Palace side look motivated, well-drilled and do play some excellent football. They've had a mightily tough start to the campaign but we think things will turn in their favour against Villa.

Prediction: Crystal Palace 2 – 1 Aston Villa

Everton vs Nottingham Forest

A tricky one to predict this. Everton now have two losses under their belt, meanwhile, Nottingham Forest comes off the back of a fantastic 1 - 0 win against West Ham.

Prediction: Everton 1 – 1 Nottingham Forest

Fulham vs Brentford

Brentford look the real deal this year - which reflects in the fact that they're currently sitting in the Champions League places two games in. It's early days, but we anticipate they'll add more points to the board against Fulham.

Prediction: Fulham 1 – 2 Brentford

Leicester City vs Southampton

Another tough one to call, with both sides having not won a fixture yet. We'll go safe and say this one will end up as a draw.

Prediction: Leicester City 1 – 1 Southampton

Bournemouth vs Arsenal

Mikel Arteta's side are a force to be reckoned with this year and we anticipate the Gunners will once again prevail in GW3.

Prediction: Bournemouth 1 - 3 Arsenal

Leeds United vs Chelsea

Another tasty affair awaits Chelsea this weekend as they travel to Leeds United. They'll be gutted the dropped two points so late on against Spurs - so will most likely come out fighting from the off and we predict a Thomas Tuchel win.

Prediction: Leeds United 1 – 3 Chelsea

West Ham vs Brighton

West Ham won't have envisioned their season starting the way it has given last year's campaign and we predict it could get even worse for David Moyes. Brighton tactically look fantastic and we think they could nick another fine result but this time at the London stadium.

Prediction: West Ham 1 – 2 Brighton

Newcastle vs Manchester City

Despite Newcastle starting well - they haven't faced a side of City's calibre yet. Pep Guardiola's side look hungry for domestic glory again this season and we think they'll batter Newcastle.

Prediction: Newcastle 1 – 4 Manchester City

Manchester United vs Liverpool

Finally, the biggest tie of GW3 - which United fans will be heavily anxious to see how it unfolds. We can see a repeat of last year's ties, with Liverpool dominating proceedings.

Prediction: Manchester United 0 – 3 Liverpool
