Antonio Conte vs Thomas Tuchel: WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre reacts

Drew McIntyre on Tuchel and Conte

Chelsea and Tottenham played out an incredibly entertaining fixture on Super Sunday, capturing the footballing world with the fierce nature of the match, leading to even WWE’s Drew McIntyre getting involved.

New signing Kalidou Koulibaly opened the scoring before Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg pulled one back for the visitors.

Late on, Reece James looked to have won the derby with his strike in the 77th minute, but Spurs had the last laugh. Harry Kane was on hand for a 96th minute equaliser to send the travelling support wild.

Things erupted on the touchline between the men in charge, Thomas Tuchel and Antonio Conte at full-time, with the pair taking part in a heated handshake, seeing tempers boil over after the final whistle.

Scottish WWE Superstar, Drew McIntyre even got in on the action on social media, revelling in the touchline fallout himself.

He takes on long-standing WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns at the pay-per-view event, Clash at the Castle, looking to usurp The Tribal Chief who hasn’t suffered a pinfall loss since 2020 in an outstanding run of matches.

The Scot will have to be at his best to become the champion, but he’s no stranger to taking on Roman Reigns and won’t be fazed by the occasion.

Drew McIntyre is representing the UK when WWE comes to the Principality Stadium in Cardiff for the first time in the biggest event for the organisation across the Atlantic for 30 years.

What a story to see a new champion at a pay-per-view event in the UK, with the new champion hailing from those shores, it will certainly be a spectacle for the Welsh crowd regardless of the result, although surely they’ll be supporting McIntyre.

His mind is clearly on the major event at Cardiff, using it to react to that handshake between Tuchel and Conte.

Sky Sports News tweeted out the video of the brutal full-time scenes, with the WWE Superstar quick to jump on social media and get involved in the banter.

Drew McIntyre quoted the tweet, saying: “I’m gonna have to talk to the brass about setting up a showdown between the lads at #WWECastle.”

Now that would certainly be a spectacle to see, what would their nicknames be? What would they perform as a finishing move? Who would win and how? We don’t know about you, but we would absolutely love to see this match up in the ring! Well, it’s over to you Triple H, let them settle the score!
