The rumours are true! EA is collaborating with Marvel to redesign FUT Heroes in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team. EA Sports and Marvel Entertainment are teaming up to bring iconic football heroes back to the pitch in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team.

Heroes were introduced to the FIFA franchise in FIFA 22 for the first time, with EA adding 19 unique Hero cards into the game including the likes of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Abedi Pele, David Ginola and many more. Now it's revealed that they're back for FIFA 23, with the most recent news being that they are now in collaboration with Marvel.

This is one of the craziest collaborations we've ever seen EA partake in and we can't wait to see what this holds for the new title. Here's everything we know about this below.

FUT Heroes collaboration with Marvel in FIFA 23

Today, Electronic Arts and Marvel Entertainment announced a collaboration to bring a new cast of FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) Heroes to the pitch in FIFA 23, reimagined and inspired by Marvel Comics.

This collaboration between two of the world’s largest entertainment brands will bring some of the game’s fan favourites to the game and celebrate their larger-than-life cult hero status alongside the amazing artists at Marvel.

Recognising their memorable careers for club and country, each FIFA World Cup FUT Hero will receive a special illustrated FUT item at the launch of the World Cup game mode, with base versions of FUT Heroes being available at the launch of FIFA 23.

The collaboration will include other vanity items related to the fan favourite heroes being immortalized as Marvel-inspired Heroes, including tifos, kits, balls, and more. Fans will also be able to get their hands on a forthcoming online Marvel Heroes comic book alongside Marvel-written bios, with limited physical quantities to be made available at a later date.

More info on both the in-game vanity items and comic book availability will be made available closer to the holiday period.

This is massively exciting for FIFA 23 and opens up the opportunity for many other major collaborations in the future!
